CCAS Receives a Gift
Van Abernethy, of the Charlotte club, passed away, but his memory will always be with the CCAS club. Van's wife donated his 16 inch DOB to the CCAS. Below is a group shot at the first club test drive of the Van Abernethy scope. The CCAS members are proud to be the caretakers of this fine scope.

The club meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at Gardner-Webb University's Williams Observatory at 7:30 PM.
