Outer Banks in October is a Go!
CCAS members have decided to make a run for the beach! As
you may know, the Outer Banks of NC can be a great dark place for
Amateur Astronomy. So mark your calendars, save your
vacation, and come to the next few meetings as plans are laid for the
week of October 26th thru Nov 1 2008. Some members may be
there the whole week, others only part of the week. Plans
TBD. This outing promises to provide a "Spooktacular"
opportunity for dark-sky viewing and imaging.
CCAS Monthly Meeting Dates
CCAS meets the fourth Thursday of each month at Gardner-Webb's Williams Observatory in Boiling Springs, NC. Dates for 2008 include: January 24th, February 28th, March 27th, April 24th, May 22nd, June 26th, July 24th, August 28th, September 25th, October 23rd. Nov/Dec TBD Due to Holidays.
